A Thetford Cassette Toilet was fitted for Perth based contractor RGW Play. This type of toilet is commonly found on welfare vans and allows waste to be removed easily via a sealed removable tank, which minimises the risk of spillage and can be easily carried out by any operator.
Kabco Products completed an order for a fleet of 10 welfare units for a leading plant hire company, which were the supplied to a major Scottish Council via a tendering process. Featuring inward opening side doors and revised interior to meet the customer’s specific requirements, the fleet of welfare units were fitted with dual voltage LED lighting and extended drawbars to suit the council vehicles’ underslung towbars. A lay flat coupling shroud was also developed to go with the longer drawbar. If you would like to consider us as a welfare unit or trailer supplier for an upcoming project, please call today on (01942) 821446.
Good ventilation is a key factor when working with toilets, chemical or otherwise. Kabco have recently began to carry out improvements to vent stacks on standard chemical toilets. This has been achieved by fitting a larger diameter stack and the addition of a non-directional roof flue. This modification, fitted with a rubber roof gasket, enables ventilation from any direction to exhaust waste tank fumes. Kabco Products also offer toilet fans that activate when lights are illuminated, to give that “home from home” feeling. These simple modifications make a great contribution to improving welfare standards.
