Cub goes to Campbelltown
Scottish west coast suppler Jim Martin Supplies order a tailor-made Kabco Cub 8 to compliment their fleet. An extra half window on the door side was required as the cabin was to be used for security on the site entrance to a wind farm. This gave the operator full view on both sides of the cabin for entry and exit to site. A Removable front 3.5 mt tall pole with 2 x led flood lights illuminated the checkpoint powered from the on board Stephill generator – the preferred generator of choice by the customer.
The silent twin battery pack provided power for both lighting heating for silent operation when required. Further comments were “the way that Kabco build the silent pack is particularly neat and easy to work on. The easily removable fuel tank is a must when contaminated fuel need draining.“Kabco always listens to our comments and they have also made water filling easy with an 80 litre translucent tank and a stainless ‘wash out’ floor in the wash room / WC – again makes things easy.
“No point us buying these products and creating a lot more maintenance problems we this type of product to be reliable and simple to fix. Everything is well thought out.
